Should try the Garabuning SPA. Opposite of Diana Shopping Centre. Relaxing and Good atmosphere. Here Kui Seafood is also lovely.

The trip of 2 days 1 night to Hat Yai is memorable and more satisfying than the past few trips. Had my first good massage at the Sakura hotel. The environment there is comfortable on its own even without the massage. Dozed off without knowing. Also visited the communist tunnel about 1 1/2 hours away drive from Hat Yai. The long hours of travelling was worthwhile. Even though it was raining quite heavy, it didn't stop us from enjoying the sight seeing and understanding our history back then. Food in Thailand is cheap and satisfying. This makes me remember about the curry crab we had on Saturday night at a restaurant opposite the Hotel Ambassador. Hungry just by the thought of it. A short trip but the experience is unforgettable. Hat Yai, I will be back for more.

Nothing much to see in Hat Yai. You have to go to Songklha town with its nice stretch of beach. As ever, the best thing to do in Thailand is to have a foot massage and Hat Yai has a great abundance of foot massage shops.

Got around in taxi. Place was very good for shopping. Can take plenty of tours from there and the prices are very good. Very good food available.

Not a particularly interesting town. Cathay Tours very useful at arranging onward transportation.

Took the Hatyai tour for 250 B. I was fine with a seafood lunch included. Also went to Tiger Show. Don't even think of going there. The show was bad...very bad. They don't even look sexy or perform professionally.

- Foot massage is a must try.
- Road side food in the evening is good and cheap.

Southern Hill Golf Resort with challenging golf course but polite people and with hospitality shown, made the green greenier and it should.
