Location
The Bratislava Hotel is located in a residential area approx 10 minutes drive from central Bratislava. Holiday inn Hotel is nearby.

Rooms
The rooms are small and basic. About half the rooms have a TV and are in need of renovation and modernizing. The decor is mainly browns and beiges. Rooms and bathrooms are kept in a fair condition.

Restaurant
This is located on the ground floor and is airy and spacious in an atrium.

General
The Bratislava is very much the old soviet style of hotel, which is run down and has a grimy tacky garishness, built is not bad for such a category.

Guest comments	The website says recently renovated and that is true - for the foyer, restaurant and business class rooms. The standard rooms are in extremely poor condition - chipped, flaking and stained paint, cracked tiles, stained tile grout, holes in the bed sheets, stained and ripped carpet. Also when looking from the restaurant into the kitchen, the kitchen looked just as bad. The bathroom wasnt very clean but the worst part was the brown shower/bath water and the leaking toilet. I would not recommend this hotel. If you do stay there, ask to stay in a business room (although the staff werent very helpful). Also it is not a good location if you are in Bratislava for a short time to see the sights - it took us 30-40minutes to get to the old city.
